I couldn't be happier with the book downloader! This incredible tool makes downloading books from the internet archive a breeze. Firstly, the installation process is quick and easy because it's available over the chrome web store, and the extension integrates seamlessly with my browser. Brilliant. It saves me a lot of time and trouble. I used to have to identify the urls of the images of the first and last page, download them all with DownThemAll, using its indexing feature, and then create a PDF from the images. The only thing missing is an option to download the images themselves for further postprocessing with ImageMagick. The images are usually of poor contrast, color balance, and sharpness, but are easily improved, en mass, using IM. Maybe a future feature?
