YouTube Summary with ChatGPT & Claude

This chrome extension is very helpful. I use it when I occasionally watching YouTube on desktop. The accuracy is okay and I can tune the prompt if needed. What I like the most is it’s free because it sends the video transcript to your ChatGPT account and OpenAI eats the AI cost. This extension was first released in early 2023 where there is little alternatives in the market. I want to use it for Youtube (learning) video's, to have a summary after watching the video's, for a reminder of the contents. but when I used it on a video of 17 minutes in English was much too long. I had to chop the transcript up in 4 pieces (of appr. 5 minutes) because of the limit of 4.000 characters. (I have to say, the teacher talks so fast that I had to slow down the speed for myself). Very useful but written in a fragile way and easily breaks from using other extensions that should reasonably be compatible. Please look in to this: If the layout of the page is any different this breaks because this picks the "first" button on the page and assumes its the submit button. Needs to pick it more wisely, otherwise this insta-breaks when using for example "ChatGPT Widescreen Mode" extension and will probably also break on its own on any layout change!
