Something up with this extension. During the last week, it found its own way onto my computer - prob when I dl k-lite but not installed yet. Malwarebytes found 2 registry entries and a chrome user profile entry. I quarantined all. Then I install Video Ad Blocker Plus from here (web store) and immediately run malwarebytes scan - not done yet, but so far found 14 entries identified as Potential Unwanted Programs. Don't install this. It will install virus and malware. The fact that Google didn't remove this dev is mind googling. Now, either, I re-install Windows or am left with locked permission dues to the vile greedy dev. Thanks dev! You are a jerk.
