Speed Dial [FVD] - New Tab Page, 3D, Sync...

This extension has been know to do some shady things in your browser for years, hence why it was banned from the Firefox store. So if you care about your privacy that's a big no. I've been using it for a couple of years regardless. And it was okay until I experienced some crashes that deleted all my dials. I managed to recover some of them with a backup, but the backup system sucks. There are like 3 different settings for backups: an import/export option, local backups and server backups. So... This used to be my go-to speed dial, I [like Firefox] have removed it – extra bloat and adding non-removable features. In their overview it states; “…the search features within the extension will be provided by Microsoft Bing. (You can disable search in the settings).” Yet in a reply I received from the developers they said; “In regards to the search box removal, this has become part of our Premium features and cannot be removed anymore…” They then went on to apologize for the inconvenience. ... I've been using this extension for very many years, at least half a decade, to my shame. Starting this month, the extension has started replacing some of my dials with bookmarks to other apps they own. This behavior cannot be disabled and it makes it impossible for me to recover the deleted dials unless I memorized which link it was and where it was sitting.
