Solved: I also wasted 5 hours of my life trying to figure out how to purchase the timelapse app. Tried every method possible. I eventually got it to work (only via the WIFI app inside the camera - I only used my Mac to set up the PMCA account and add my card details). The way to make it work, is to add money to your wallet (and also keep your card registered as well). On a Sony A7RII multiple exposure should be a standard feature, it is not. Having spent well over £2000 on this camera a couple of years ago another £3.99 is an insult. First of all I couldn't get into the play memories site as you need a different account to the normal Sony account. I'm now in and have downloaded the play memories download software (even if it kept trying to download for windows when I run a mac), I still however cannot get the 'multiple exposure' app to download at all.... SONY this is absolute bullshit.. tried directly downloading apps via camera which came to a 'webpage not available'. rang Sony was told to download via computer..(I don't understand why it cant just work on the camera..)The downloader on the website is downloaded and installed ..reset the computer ...aaaaaaand nothing.. nowhere to be found?? total crap. Ive tried too many times. I mean, why can't Sony just include free downloads with a mutli thousand dollar camera? Surely Sony can afford to ... Show more
