I wonder if a feature can be added that activates TTS feature with both options, when the text is selected/ hovered over as well as when an activation key is pressed! this can enable users to enjoy the convenience of both listening to the words pronounced as soon as they select/hover over them and repeating it as well via the activation key. I liked this extension, until I found it is the thing that caused my text to automatically be translated to English each time I switch language. It was an absolute nightmare. I never changed any settings in this extension, it started a few months after I installed it so I didn't suspect. It freaked me out and killed my productivity.

It's a good extension. Helps me a lot. But unfortunately the OCR does not seem to perform very well. The one on my iphone is better. Then again, I don't know the state of open source OCRs, or the limitations of one being called through the browser.
