LiveTL - Translation Filter for Streams

EDIT 7/25: I changed browsers from chrome to brave and looks like it's working again. I was going to change browsers anyways but I can at least mention it's working on brave as intended. PAST 7/23-24: There's some bug now on Chrome. I am unable to even comment or post any emoji's using this extension. Turning off HyperChat returns things back to normal. Giving this 5 stars because it does its job, and does it well : streamlining live translations, when they are available, on a livestream. That said, I've been experiencing the problem of Chrome and Chromium-based browsers freezing whenever I try to close a livestream tab (whether the stream's over or otherwise). By pure chance, Chrome crashed on me a few days ago, disabling this extension (as well as Hyperchat) and I haven't had the aforementioned problem ever since. I hope the developer will... Show more

The liveTL part works well, but the Hyperchat part (which is installed alongside LiveTL and is thankfully not mandatory) is very disappointing. Hyperchat fully changes how youtube chat looks, and all changes seem to be for the worst: - Removes avatars - Makes the text smaller and less readable - Adds alternating black and gray background to messages which is a good intention, but the gray is too bright, vibrates with green usernames and adds too much visual clutter and impairs readability - ...
