The app is cool and all but there's a limit on it. You can only spell check like 3 words a day like replacing "its" with "it's" after those 3 corrections it disables. There's plenty of free extensions in the web store just like this one and they work way better because their free and receive more diagnostic and user data to make their apps a whole lot better. Save yourself some time having to look for a new extension a few days later because that's likely what you'll do after installing this... Show more

The software itself: - Often provides grammar and spelling suggestions which don't make sense, are blatantly wrong, or often sound like they were approved by a none native English speaker. - A bit buggy. - Doesn't seem to work on a lot of sites (i.e., Google Docs, which it is advertised to work for, but I couldn't get to even pop up). I don't know why people have left a bad review for this extension. I have tried out a couple of popular grammar checkers. Each had their own strengths but I wanted something that gave me all around features like grammar checker, rephrases, synonyms as well as an inbuilt dictionary to learn unknown words.
