G App Launcher (Customizer for Google™)

Why cannot the "search and launch" search more than just the pinned google sites? I sometimes think that "search from just limited shortcuts" is quite an unnecessary function. I use the G App Launcher to keep the google launcher looking nice, so I just pin 9 commonly used shortcuts. However, many google sites (such as Google Collections) are quite hard to find out if I do not pin them. The functionality is great, but every time I click on the icon, I get a page about updates. Useless! What's the point of having a button to access all Google tools, if every second time you click on it, instead of opening the menu you installed it for, it opens a page about "What's new" which is obviously a way to display an advert. This is mostly a button to open an advert, and one out of three times it just does what it is supposed to do.

First thing I install on the browser. Long time user. Active improvement over the years. Love it. I have a reminder set to backup changes every month, but I also tend to backup when adding, updating, or removing new services / custom. I would love the option to export the custom ones to a bookmark file, if at all possible. Many thanks!
