I switched to this extension when they discontinued the split tunneling for windows since I use programs that I do not want to be hindered by the slower speed of the Fastest VPN servers. However, it's hit or miss when the servers will actually be working/available. Often I'll just lose internet or it will slow down to a crawl. Then connecting to a new server is also hit or miss since they are often down as well. I've also noticed that they rarely update the apps/software with the new servers ... Show more
It works on the right connection. The problem is that a lot of the options to locations and servers are do not work, on either the phone or in Chrome. And it will not tell you if the internet is connected or not, so if you are waiting for an email to pop in, you might not see it in time.
Not sure about the development of this system, they did recently updated the app, and it's arguably better, but the main thing a VPN should focus, the connection, might be a let down.

Buggy, limited location options and not remotely the fastest, but very cheap.
You get what you pay for.
Often requires more than one try to work correctly, and occasionally several.
The list of locations you can show yourself as being at is short.
It's mediocre as far as speed is concerned. Once you get it working, it's fine, but nowhere near 'fastest', nor even 'fast' for that matter - just average.
It's also very, very cheap. I'd give it a 3.25, with the potential to round up to a four... Show more
