The extension behaves inconsistently to the point where it is more time consuming to use it than to export the citation and download the pdf on my own. The citation button at the bottom left of the screen rarely appears, and then when it does appear sometimes I receive a page with an error about downloading the PDF. Not bad in terms of a stand-alone store. But doesn't connect to the EndNote Desktop setup. I had downloaded this extension to Chrome first, and hit a limit on the number of pdfs one can save. When I tried to then install and use the Desktop version for further use, found out that these 2 products don't talk to each other as I was forced to have different accounts for both. This used to be a very useful tool but ever since the EndNote rebranding, it is garbage. I appreciated being logged in automatically to my accounts so I can get past paywalls easily but now instead of refreshing the page to show full articles, you are forced to view everything in their viewer. Their viewer does not provide any benefits to me but does come with annoyances. I'll stick to just logging myself in now.
