It is still trying to save a text file in a local folder. It should be pretty obvious that if you are opening a local folder, you already have it, so why the need to save it again ?
It would be helpful to be able to tell the extension what to do with what kind of files, e.g. jpg... open in browser, txt... open in browser. mp3... run using ... program etc.
Well, it works... But I would like to be able to configure on which websites opening links to local files is allowed. (For Microsoft web browsers you need to add those websites to the trusted websites zone. For Firefox you need to add those websites to a capability.policy.localfilelinks.checkloaduri.sites preference)
Was nice for a couple weeks. Now it seems to not work. Maybe Chrome changed something on last update?
The setting to choose specific sites doesn't allow simple aliases for intranet sites. For example I want to tell it "http://helpdesk", but it claims that's not a valid web address.
