Enable Copy Paste - E.C.P

I installed the extension because I could not paste a track-n-trace reference onto the Royal Mail website. The extension fixed my paste issue, but I then discovered that I could no longer delete items in Gmail - either en-masse, or individually whilst viewing a message. I unticked the "Enable for all websites" option, and refreshed the Gmail tab, and once again was able to delete messages. (EDIT: I did give 3 stars but reading another review if you go to manage extension and set it to specific sites you want to bypass the copy & paste restrictions then it works perfectly and doesn't affect youtube and google etc) It does works so is definitely worth using, I am currently doing online assignments and they have blocked copy and paste so when referencing I had to write the entire reference and website address out. It appears to work, but there are tons of side effects! For example, with this extension (and no others) enabled, I can't click on the scrub bar on YouTube to jump around the video. I've been having a lot of issues on other websites, and it appears many of them are related to this extension. Whatever it does to remove copy/paste blocking Javascript, it needs to be a lot more selective.
