It does not work and I even think it might be a scam. In the menu (click 3 dots then manage extension) I saw the settings of the extension. "Site access'' This extension can read and change your data on sites. You can control which sites the extension can access. Automatically allow access on the following sites http://*.orpea.net/* https://*.allsoft.be/* https://*.auctionline.be/* https://*.e-contract.be/* https://*.ejustice.be/* https://*.jd-consult.be/* https://*.nkcn-cia.be/* https://*.o... The extension writes a <div id="eid-chrome-extension-is-installed"></div> in every web page you visit which could lead in unexpected UI alterations. I suppose the idea is to detect if the extension is installed, but this is not the correct way to do it. Sorry but I can't trust a company/extension doing this, especially since we gave them access to our EID card.

The extension also needs additional Java component (Java JRE SDK) to be installed in order to work. I got it working after downloading the latest version here: https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp Hopefully this will help.
