it is probably the best available extension for for making a dark mode for google docs. I also like that the shade is not #000000 dark which can be rough on the eyes. The only downside is that the "Document Background" button is definitely buggy, as if I try to mess with anything it'll leave me with a white doc background, and I have to remove/reinstall the extension to get it to work again. Not only does this extension use a greyscale that is easy on the eyes, but the fact that you can turn it on/off with a small, easy to use button in the bottom-left makes it near perfect. This needs more attention, or to be default with chrome. My only minor issue with it so far is the lack of an option to skip the color inversion on images (but I can see in a reply to another review that this is maybe being worked on?). I have used DocsAfterDark for months and love it! However, a few months ago there was an update which broke the colors on the left outline panel which makes the font color a dark gray color, and makes it very hard to see with the dark background behind it. I was told this was a known issue and would be fixed but never was, at least for the Google Chrome version. I saw an update which looks like it addressed the issue on Firefox and not Chrome.
