Disable Autoplay for YouTube™

Doesn't work for me. Every time I open a Youtube video in a new tab it automatically starts playing. But all I want is to open a Youtube video in paused mode or not even loading it in general. I played around with all the options but nothing changed anything. The focusing options work but that does not help me here. Works very well for me. Very useful extension if you don't want youtube to autoplay, as Google seem to have progressively removed the ability to do this from their own settings. Easy to switch on and off with the toolbar button and simple option selection by right-clicking the toolbar button. One minor glitch is that youtube channel pages sometimes fail to display when the extension is enabled, but a simple workround if this happens is shift-refresh.

update: nvm it stopped working today ___ Works as intended but it stops the vid at the BEGINNING of the video. What I need is when sharing my lessons with students to stop the video at the point where I share the lesson. Youtube "Share" you can copy paste a url that puts you at point on vid. If I try use this extension and youtube share exact spot on vid this extension will not let me go spot on vid.
