What is DeArrow - Better Titles and Thumbnails

DeArrow is a browser extension designed for crowdsourcing better titles and thumbnails on YouTube

It aims to prevent clickbait by allowing users to submit and vote on accurate and descriptive titles and thumbnails

The plugin also provides options for auto-formatting titles and setting default thumbnails when no user submissions are available

Additionally, it differentiates itself from similar tools by offering sophisticated title formatting options and using truly random timestamps for thumbnails

The open-source nature of the plugin and its commitment to preventing sensationalism make it a valuable tool for social media content moderation and user-generated content optimization

Mega props to the community and the dev! I don't know if I had a key or not, but I did have access on one other browser before the paywall thing. But I will... Show more

I used to have this extension and just reset my computer, and now it's a paid extension? For an extension that used to be free, is open source (I'm fairly sure) and that all of the content being used is made by other users, that's pretty weird to do. I'm sure making people watch ads when getting the extension as an option on the menu would be okay. EDIT: Thank you for responding. The way the free access button was worded, made it seem like it was unlikely to get it. If all you have to do is ... Show more
