Darkness - Beautiful Dark Themes

I loved it at first, but now it's causing me problems. I'm being told to turn off my Google high contrast extension and I don't have a high contrast extension. I wish someone would respond to my email and tell me why they think I have a high contrast extension. I've sent 2 emails to Darkness this morning 12/17/20 and no one has responded. Downloaded, installed and paid my $4.99 for upgrade. It thanks me for upgrading then prompts me to pay for an upgrade again. Tried it on all three of my computers, but no joy. Tells me to enter the email address but won't accept it, just returns me to the page asking for more money. I turned off the adblocker and the antivirus then cleaned out the caches, but it still won't install the upgrade. Turned off ALL my extensions with no luck. 1 star, only because 0 wasn't an option. The themes are just bad, at best underwhelming. But even if you disagree, they only work on a small subset of sites: so your browser will constantly bounce back and forth between themed/not themed. In my case, I immediately asked for a refund well within the appropriate window to do so...I'd been polite, sympathetic and constructive in feedback/explaining why I was dissatisfied with the product; all of which was unnecessary in so far as qualifying for ...
