Tried to use the code generated to login, but it kept saying it is not working. Eventually I had to open my phone Google Authenticator and used the code generated instead and it worked. The codes generated from the Google Authenticator within phone are different to the ones generated in this App and the websites that use 2FA only accept the ones from my phone. Therefore this Google Authenticator Chrome extension app is now useless when it supposes to work the same as Google Authenticator.

Works great! The search field at the top if quite small and I did not even know it existed until a colleague showed me, so note that. Rarely, but I have needed to delete the entry, then re-add the QR Code once or twice for a login since it stopped working for some reason. But honestly this is quite rare.

TIP if you want the same codes from google authenticator: On your mobile app, open the menu > transfer accounts > Export accounts > select the ones you want to export This generates an qr code, print it and open and scan in your browser. You will have the same codes in both apps, with the same keys 😍
